The New York DFS Cybersecurity Regulations

Brian Edelman, FCI CEO.
Speaker at T3 Enterprise 2017.
October 30-November 1, 2017 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel and Resort.

In a main stage presentation at T3 Enterprise this fall, Edelman will discuss how firms must comply with New York DFS Cybersecurity regulations. To comply with the New York DFS Cybersecurity Regulation, insurance companies, banks, broker/dealers and other regulated financial services institutions doing business in New York, including their agencies and branches, must implement and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program in accordance with the set timeline.

Edelman, a cybersecurity expert and CEO of Financial Computer, has been successfully protecting advisors, staff, and client data since 1995 with some of the most effective tools in the industry. He will cover the procedures, steps and tools companies can leverage to create rapid, successful transitions in becoming cyber-compliant.

As seasoned, Chief Information Security Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, and IT Directors know, New York is one of the first states to take stronger security action and, others will follow. Whether you are in early planning stages and want a fast track to compliance, or you are ready and look for validation, Edelman will provide clarity.
