Brian Edelman is a nationally recognized cybersecurity expert and the CEO of FCI, which he founded in 1995. He specializes in cybersecurity protection and compliance for regulated financial services organizations — broker-dealers and branch offices, insurance carriers and agencies, and RIAs.
Brian holds a Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management from Harvard University and serves as a Cybersecurity Technology Expert on the Forbes NY Council. He brings deep expertise in federal and state cybersecurity regulations including SEC, NYDFS (23 NYCRR 500), NAIC, FINRA, HIPAA, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
He is regularly invited to speak at major industry conferences — T3, CNBC Financial Advisor Summit, Wells Fargo FiNet, FSI OneVoice, TradePMR Synergy — and is cited by publications including CNBC, Financial Planning, Forbes, PLANADVISER, PLANSPONSOR, and Investment News.
