Who We Are

30 years in financial services. Not 30 years in cybersecurity with a financial services practice.

FCI was founded to serve one market. We have never pivoted. Every investment, every hire, every tool we have built has been designed for the way financial services sales offices actually operate — regulated, exposed, and structurally different from every other industry in ways generic security providers were never designed to handle.

Our Story

One market. One mission. Three decades.

Financial services sales offices present a security challenge that most managed security service providers have never fully understood. Independent advisors, appointed agents, branch offices with their own devices and their own networks — the sales office model creates an attack surface that was never designed for centralized IT management.

A typical MSSP deploys endpoint protection or runs a SOC — then hands the client a dashboard and a phone number. The client is still responsible for configuring controls, writing policies, producing compliance evidence, and responding to regulatory examinations. FCI does all of that. The four pillars — Cyber Tools & Settings, Procedures & Processes, Expert Knowledge Applied at Scale, and Proof of Security & Compliance — are not sold separately. They are one service, delivered by one team.

Over 30 years, we have developed the operational expertise, regulatory fluency, and purpose-built technology that this market requires. FCI uses AI to enforce controls, detect threats, and produce compliance evidence across six security domains — at a scale that would be impossible manually. Our FCI Portal was designed specifically for firms managing compliance across sales office networks. Our SOC analysts understand the regulatory context of what they are protecting. Our implementation approach is calibrated to financial firms that cannot afford user friction or IT downtime.

Today we implement controls and produce evidence of compliance across more than 40,000 endpoints for more than 400 clients — broker-dealers and branch offices, insurance carriers and agencies, and RIAs. We hold SOC 2 Type 1 attestation and a 100% SecurityScorecard rating. We are independently verified, not self-described.

What Makes FCI Different

Most MSSPs hand you a dashboard and a phone number. FCI does the rest.

Most managed security service providers serve financial services as one vertical among many. They deploy endpoint protection or run a SOC — then hand the client a dashboard and a phone number. They do not produce the documentation regulators actually ask for. They do not sit with the firm during an examination. They do not manage incident response. They do not enforce controls across devices they did not sell.

FCI does all four — because the financial services sales office requires all four. Our managed cybersecurity services were designed from the beginning for the sales office model — the BYOD environments, the independent branch offices, the compliance requirements that extend to every appointed agent and registered rep, not just the home office.

This specificity is not a marketing claim. It is operational DNA. Our tools, our workflows, our SOC analysts, and our FCI Portal are all built around one question: what does it take to keep a financial services sales office compliant, protected, and exam-ready — continuously?
